Marvel-Disney Crossover by gzapata Marvel-Disney Crossover by gzapata
So this week the topic was crossovers between marvel and disney. Had some difficulties with she-hulk since she needs to be bulkie but also feminine. I also think I'm going through a purple phase now.

I hear ya on She-Hulk--that's partly why I keep trying to draw Wonder Woman, because I want to pull off that balance.

Great piece--though I'm trying to figure out what Snow White's doing. I like the think she's showing off some of her kung-fu skillz.

she was just in shock of She-Hulk's bulging muscles. Closet lesbian maybe. Been busy the last few weeks with projects so I haven't been able to put to much time on these yet.

Yeah I drew Wonder Woman awhile ago for a commission and she had some of the same problems. You don't necessarily have to go body builder with her as seen with the animated shows and movies with her though. If I remember correctly she's pretty small in each of them at least compared to Superman and Batman

I can see the lesbian theory now--maybe a bit too well. "Wow! You're, like, so fit! Can...can I feel it? Unff...mmm... Okay, uh, how are your thighs?"

I hear ya about not wanting body builders--they totally are the wrong shape to go for with superheroes. My dad was a bit of an amateur body-builder in the local circuit, back in the day, and he's told me some horror stories. The reason those guys look like that in competitions is because they don't eat or drink anything for at least three or four days prior to the competition. They're really at their weakest. I think athletes are typically a bit better for superheroes, especially Olympic levels where they have really stringent juice laws.

As for her...it might be me, but I try to aim for a balance of someone who looks fit and could kick anyone's ass, and yet still has the beauty of Aphrodite.

Yeah generally I don't use bodybuilders. I don't do much superhero work though so generally I don't even use athletes as I find healthy regular people being much more interesting to draw.

Agreed though wouldn't that fit for most women superheroes?
